The company Tekon-Tehnokonsalting d.o.o. from Belgrade develops high-capacity mobile equipment for extinguishing open-air fires, as a response to the increasing frequency of such fires and the growing air pollution they cause.

Certificates
TEKON specializes in diagnostics and extinguishing of landfill fires and other open-air fires within industrial complexes. The company entered the development of this technology with substantial field experience. Over the past years, its experts have conducted thermal imaging surveys of more than 20 active and abandoned landfills across Serbia, identifying risks of spontaneous combustion and underground hotspots. For aerial thermal imaging of landfills and for measuring landfill and fire gases, the company is accredited as an ISO 17025 laboratory. Company employees have also participated in extinguishing numerous landfill fires, not only in Serbia but also in the wider region, which provided them with significant experience in identifying all the technical challenges and requirements such equipment must meet in practice. This field experience has been transformed into a technical solution: a mobile system that can quickly intervene, effectively suppress the fire, and at the same time prevent the spread of toxic emissions into the air.
